Non-invasive prenatal diagnosis:
The advances in technology have now enabled us to offer a variety of tests that no longer require invasive procedures. These can simply be done by taking a sample of maternal blood to check for things like fetal sex, blood group for antibodies and screening for chromosomal abnormalities: Trisomy 13, 18 and 21. Yinka is able to arrange for you to have these tests if required
Screening for pre eclampsia and Prediction of placental related complications:
Yinka is able to arrange for you to have these tests which require a detailed examination of placenta at 16 weeks gestation. With the integration of scan findings, uterine artery blood flow studies and maternal blood markers from first trimester test he will be able to provide a risk assessment.
